On July 26th 2018, I worked with Marshall Nyanhete in the Central School of Speech and Drama recording studio, and recorded a series of Shakespeare Speeches.

 

I then edited the speeches, and added some reverb, to allow the words hang and register with the audience. 

One track I am particularly proud of is the To Be Or Not To Be speech, famously written in Act III, Scene I of Shakespeare's Hamlet.

This one took a lot of work to find a way of expressing what Prince Hamlet is trying to convey in his speech. 

 

We were both very happy with the result:
