Present Laughter is a comedy written by Noel Coward.

Set in 1939, the play follows the complicated life of Garry Essendine over 3 days as he prepares for a tour.

This play wasn't too heavily reliant on sound effects, so it allowed me to focus on music to keep the flow of the show going, and challenged me to image the sound effect of a radio, telephone and a doorbell.

Role: Sound Designer

Venue: Embassy Theatre, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama

Location: Swiss Cottage, London

Desk: Yamaha QL1

PSE: Jeremy George
